IT SECURITY BUISNESS RISK INFRASTRUCTURE BANKS
On behalf of our client in the banking sector, we are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team responsible for implementing and maintaining IT Information Security & Risk (IS&R) processes.
You will play a key role in designing and implementing advanced security solutions including smart assistants and automated controls to strengthen risk management, ensure compliance, and enhance operational resilience across the bank.
Tasks:
- Supporting the rollout and adoption of IS&R standards across IT squads.
- Coordinating awareness initiatives and promoting a security-first culture.
- Monitoring access controls, patch management, and exception handling.
- Ensuring alignment between IT operations and security principles.
- Documenting procedures and reporting on control execution and security configurations.
- Acting as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders to elevate security maturity.
Profile:
- 3+ years of experience in a security role with a solid understanding of Business Security and its strategic relevance.
- Proven expertise in security configuration monitoring, quality control, and access exception management, with the ability to translate technical risks into business-focused solutions.
- Strong knowledge of risk awareness, incident management, business intelligence, and continuous improvement practices.
- Good familiarity with IT infrastructure (hardware, operating systems, networks); IT certifications are a valuable asset.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch or French is a plus.
