About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a new cyber product within the financial services sector. This freelance role requires a proven track record in managing complex projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.

The successful candidate will oversee all stages of the launch lifecycle — from planning and execution to monitoring, reporting, and stakeholder management.

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of a new product launch in the financial services industry.
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Facilitate effective communication across product, marketing, compliance, technology, and operations teams.
• Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies, proactively addressing obstacles to ensure successful delivery.
• Prepare regular status updates, reports, and presentations for stakeholders and leadership.
• Ensure all project activities align with regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Drive post-launch reviews, capturing lessons learned and identifying opportunities for process improvements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in financial services (banking, fintech, insurance, or asset management).
• Strong track record in product launch management or delivering customer-facing initiatives.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including working with senior executives.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project, Asana, or similar).
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations in financial services.
• Ability to work independently as a freelancer/contractor, managing workload and deadlines effectively.
• Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum Master) is desirable
• Fluent in French / English or Dutch / English with good command of the 2nd language
