Junior Consultant – Life Sciences / Pharma
(Based in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany)

Our client is an internationally active consultancy working with some of the world’s leading life sciences and pharmaceutical companies. They help organisations improve performance, bring innovations to market, and tackle complex challenges in research, development, and commercialisation.
The role
After a structured onboarding, you’ll work on national and international projects in the life sciences and pharma sector. You’ll collaborate with clients and colleagues to:
- Improve productivity in R&D
- Shape approaches to new product development
- Evaluate the potential of licensing, partnerships, and acquisitions
From day one, you’ll own workstreams that involve building and interpreting quantitative models, conducting market and trend analyses, and delivering clear, actionable insights.
Example project topics:
- Forecasting market uptake for new drugs or diagnostics
- Modelling capacity needs for manufacturing expansion
- Portfolio optimisation and resource allocation modelling
- Evaluating investment opportunities using scenario analysis
- Developing pricing and licensing models
About you
We’re looking for curiosity, a passion for life sciences, and strong modelling skills. Your academic discipline matters less than your ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations.
You’ll stand out if you have:
- A Master’s degree (PhD welcome) in a relevant field
- Internship or work experience in consulting, business development, or life sciences R&D
- Proven experience with quantitative modelling and data analysis (Excel, Python, R, or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Clear communication and presentation abilities
- Consultant-level PowerPoint skills
- An organised, proactive approach to work
- Enjoyment of teamwork in an international environment
