Backend engineers: Junior, Mid, Senior

We’re building something ambitious at the intersection of robotics, real-time data, and distributed infrastructure. While we’re still in stealth, we’re already assembling a world-class team - and we’re hiring a Backend Engineer to help us shape the foundation. We’re on a mission to make AI do dehumanizing work in factories around the world.

What you'll do

• Build real-time data pipelines (video, depth, sensor streams, and more)
• Design and implement low-latency, high-throughput backend systems
• Help define and scale the core infrastructure for hardware-in-the-loop robotic systems
• Work on both data and infra layers - where performance matters
• Collaborate closely with founders and early team members (repeat exited founders, ex-Google, PhDs)

What we're looking for

• Strong ownership and willingness to work on ambitious technical problems
• Global mindset - we’re building to compete on the world stage
• You are comfortable working in English

Bonus points if you have

• Deep backend development experience
• Experience with Rust
• Experience with distributed systems, performance optimization, or real-time data

Why junior mid and senior? Are you hiring for all of these roles?

Yes.

Why in-person?

You sometimes need to access, physically, a robot to debug your backend. “What’s this weird error? Oh a USB got detached when the robot moved to pick up the package” kind of thing. So you need to be able to drop by the office in case.

In person how?

We work by objectives and we pledge to never have a mandatory office presence policy. But to reach your objectives you need to be in the office and work with IRL stuff, or meet the team and so on. So this is not a remote position.

Where are your offices?

Right now, in Milan we are at Talent Garden Calabiana and in Zurich we are at Technopark. Both locations have full amenities like cafe, outdoor relax spaces, and so on.
