Blockchain Backend Engineer

We are a Dutch recruitment agency based in Netherlands and we are preferred suppliers to big Banking organizations based in the Netherlands.

For one of our Banking client based in Amsterdam we are looking for a senior-level blockchain backend engineer who can own the design and development of a Hyperledger Fabric–based solution, while also being strong in backend engineering practices with NestJS/TypeScript and modern DevOps deployment workflows.

36- 40 hours

2 - 3 year project

Hybrid (1-2 days per week onsite)

The project:

You'll work with a cutting-edge technology stack that includes Hyperledger Fabric, NestJS and TypeScript, contributing to an engineering culture that prioritizes clean code, maintainability, and the resolution of complex challenges using OpenShift.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain Hyperledger Fabric application.
• Design, build, and maintain robust backend services using NestJS and TypeScript.
• Write clean, well-tested code following SOLID principles.
• Deploy and manage services on Kubernetes (we operate on OpenShift
• Actively participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

Skillset:

• 5+ years Experience with Hyperledger Fabric or related blockchain technologies
• 5+ years of backend development experience with NestJS/Node.js and TypeScript
• Strong understanding of clean code and testing practices
• Experience writing and maintaining unit tests with Jest or Mocha/Chai
• Proven experience deploying services to Kubernetes (OpenShift experience is a plus but not required)
• Proficiency with GIT, collaborative development workflows, and a code review culture
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows

Nice to have:

• Experience with Angular
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL
• Proficiency with Python
• Familiarity with OpenShift

Interview process:

• One technical interview (60 min Teams chat) and one softs skills (20 mins)
