This rapidly growing tech scale-up focuses on digitizing and simplifying car transport across Europe. With their platform, transporting a vehicle becomes as easy as shipping a package – fully automated, from planning to delivery. Customers can schedule, track, and manage transports in one clear environment.

The company started as a logistics service provider but is now transforming into a full-fledged technology company. All software development is done in-house, with a focus on smart, scalable solutions that make the transport chain more efficient.

Currently, about 25% of all used-car transports in the Netherlands are processed through their platform. Expansion is well underway in countries such as Germany, France, and Italy. Revenue has grown from €10 million in 2022 to an expected €55 million in 2025, with the ambition to reach €100 million within a few years.

Technically, the platform runs on React (front-end) and Laravel (backend) with a MySQL database and private cloud hosting. The focus for the coming years is the transition toward an API-first, event-driven, and scalable architecture to enable international growth. Upcoming features include dynamic pricing, route optimization, self-billing, and mobile apps for both customers and transport partners.

The team (currently 4 developers in NL, plus a lead developer starting in December) works hybrid from a modern office next to the train station in Zwolle. A UX/UI designer is on board, and close collaboration with the innovation team ensures plenty of fresh ideas. Role description

As a Medior/Senior Front-end Developer, you’ll take ownership of developing and evolving the platform’s front end. Working with React, you’ll contribute to different key pillars of the application, including:

• The calculator that customers use to plan and manage transports (currently being rebuilt from scratch).
• The partner portal for transporters, which is undergoing a major refactor.
• The internal admin environment.
• New features such as improved Excel uploads, self-billing tools, and smart invoice/PDF functionalities.

You’ll collaborate closely with the lead developer, backend developers, and UX/UI designer. There’s plenty of room to influence front-end architecture, performance, usability, and scalability. The team is looking for someone who goes beyond execution: someone who challenges ideas, comes up with initiatives, and helps elevate the platform.

You’ll also get the chance to grow the front-end codebase and deliver new features that will be used by thousands of users across Europe.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as a Front-end Developer.
• Strong experience with React (TypeScript is a strong plus).
• Ability to think beyond UI – considering architecture and scalability.
• Experience in logistics or e-commerce is a plus.
• Strong communication skills: able to challenge ideas and explain your own clearly.
• Proactive mindset with ownership of your parts of the platform.
• English-speaking candidates are very welcome.
