Founded in 2023, BLoSH is at the forefront of algorithmic trading, using advanced, automated systems to provide stability and liquidity to digital currency markets. We are a fast-growing company with a focus on centralised trading spaces in a decentralised market. Although BLoSH is a young firm, we have already developed a strong presence within the cryptocurrency markets, with our profit per capita being one of the highest in the industry. Our mission is to further expand that presence through continuous growth and learning.

Our success comes from our talented team; we work in a simple, straightforward structure using cutting-edge technology that allows us to act quickly on new ideas. We learn and adapt swiftly based on real-time market feedback. In this fast-moving environment, creative thinking and taking initiative are key and highly appreciated. At BLoSH, we're all about giving our team the support they need to grow and help shape the future of the company. Our teams' diverse skill set and ability to learn quickly is what make us stand out.

Our high-frequency trading system is built in Rust and runs on AWS. It ingests billions of real-time updates and places millions of orders per day, across hundreds of markets, on multiple cryptocurrency exchanges. We're looking for a Software Engineer who shares our passion for high-performance software to help us extend and improve our systems and win in new markets.

We have a position open for both Graduate or Junior SE, as well as more senior candidates. We invite candidates with all levels of experience to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement new trading algorithms and other new functionality in Rust.
  • Collaborate with other software engineers and quantitative analysts to understand and improve trading behaviour.
  • Participate in the design of new system components.
  • Analyse and optimise performance, in code and across networked systems.

We’re looking for someone who takes full ownership of their work and has the drive to push ideas into production. You should be confident in making decisions, assertive when improvements are needed, and motivated to lead changes that strengthen both our systems and our trading results.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of software development fundamentals, memory management and low-latency code.
  • Solid ability to test, benchmark and fine-tune ultra-low latency code.
  • Experience with financial markets is not required, an interest in is.

We offer a challenging role in an informal work environment with lots of responsbility, catered lunch, as well as a good salary.

Please send your CV to [email protected] to apply! Applications (only) done via LinkedIn will not be taken into account.

  • BLoSH is committed to promoting and nurturing a diverse and inclusive work environment. We believe that diversity in our employees contributes to the quality of our results. We encourage applicants of every background and identity.
