What You’ll Be Doing...
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of high-performance backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Architect and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, with a strong emphasis on automation and reliability.
- Containerize and orchestrate backend services using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Design and optimize database schemas in MySQL and integrate with OpenSearch for complex search and analytics functionality.
- Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless and automated deployments.
- Collaborate with front-end teams to define APIs and ensure smooth integration.
- Mentor junior backend developers and uphold best practices for code quality and system architecture.
You will need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience as a backend Java developer.
- Deep expertise in Java and the Spring framework, with a focus on Spring Boot and microservices.
- Extensive, hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, RDS, SQS, and SNS.
- Proficiency with Docker and a strong understanding of containerization principles.
- Expertise in designing and managing relational databases like MySQL.
- Proven experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch.
- Solid experience with Git and CI/CD tools.
- Experience with large-scale, distributed systems and event-driven architecture (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Knowledge of software security best practices, including threat modeling and secure coding principles.
- Experience with testing automation frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito) and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
