🔒 Our expertise: The Felps Group is an alliance of ‘Pure Players’ made up of four distinct squads: Telecoms, IT, Cybersecurity and Change Management. Each squad is led by a Captain who is a specialist in that particular area. We’re looking for a Java Software Developer to join our Compliance, Investor Relations, and Communication Services product line. You’ll be responsible for software development activities across Comply Log and other regulatory technology solutions for issuers and advisors.

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, with strong expertise in the latest editions and Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Microservices architecture, and design patterns.
• Proficiency with containerization/orchestration tools: Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with frontend technologies like React.js or Angular is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of Node.js and PostgreSQL is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of API security and data privacy best practices.
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies with a strong commitment to Agile practices.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, Gitflow, IaC, configuration management, deployment patterns).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive mindset.
• English fluency (bilingual).

Responsibilities & deliverables

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Ensure high performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to align development with business requirements and timelines.
• Prioritize and resolve client issues promptly, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Conduct code reviews, contribute to critical feature designs, and ensure deliverable quality.
• Identify technical debt and improvement areas; document and prioritize them properly.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for onboarding, knowledge transfer, and communication.
• Troubleshoot bottlenecks and bugs, devising effective solutions.
• Actively participate in the Agile Scrum development process.
