Job Description

The person in the role of IT System Administrator (m/f) will be responsible for developing the information system by implementing modern IT practices and providing expert and technical support to users. A key task will be to ensure smooth business operations through a reliable IT infrastructure and effective management of system solutions.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Managing, maintaining, monitoring, and securing the operation of IT infrastructure (PCs, servers, network equipment, connections, services)
  • Providing user support
  • Troubleshooting hardware issues and performing installations on PCs, servers, and other equipment
  • Detecting security-related events in the information system, promptly notifying users, and resolving security incidents
  • Ensuring proper system backups
  • Preparing regular reports
  • Ensuring compliance of the information system with regulatory requirements
  • Ensuring adherence to internal and external policies and procedures established by the Branch, the Group, and external regulators

Qualifications

Education and Experience

The candidate must meet one of the following criteria:

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree (first Bologna cycle) in computer science, engineering, or another relevant field, and a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience or
  • A Higher Vocational Education degree in computer science, engineering, or another relevant field, and a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience

Language Skills

  • Proficiency in English, Serbian, and Croatian at B1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

Desired Technical knowledge and Experience

  • Good knowledge of modern Microsoft solutions, including Windows 10/11 and the Office suite
  • Experience in system administration across Windows, Linux, Lotus Domino, Citrix, and Oracle environments
  • Experience managing Cisco network switches and wireless access points
  • Ability to quickly and effectively troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Familiarity with basic system administration tools and processes
  • Experience in installing and maintaining network cabling
  • Working knowledge of complex TCP/IP networks with multiple routing
  • Experience with host and network security
