As a Product Line Manager Apparel, with a primary focus on the Outdoor Category, your role is to strategically oversee and drive the development, launch, and long-term success of our dedicated apparel product range. You will play a key part in meeting the needs of our customers and National Organizations (N/O), achieving our business objectives while ensuring compliance with category goals as well as environmental, social, and governance (ESG) targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage the Outdoor apparel range from concept to commercialization
  • Creation of regular business analysis, drawing conclusions, and translating findings effectively into product concept strategies and range architecture
  • Responsible for the range architecture and product lifecycle planning
  • Creation of commercial product briefings to hit the target price, in close collaboration with the Design & Development team in line with the costing and pricing process
  • Coordinate cross-functional discussions on range architecture and pricing strategies with the Category Management team, external suppliers (N/O's), and internal departments to ensure alignment on crucial topics
  • Prepare the planning and execution of key milestones during the product creation phase to ensure seamless operations and timely delivery
  • Drive open and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders (National Organizations)
  • Present and sell PLB collections during international meetings (e.g., Advisory meetings, INTERSPORT summit etc.)
  • Create and maintain data in product management software
  • Work independently on projects
  • Maintain accurate and timely system data management to support informed decision-making and efficient process
  • Ensure effective Go-to-Market (GTM) services: SMS order check, forecast steering, active sell-in and order follow-up


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Good level of product expertise in Apparel product creation, Knowledge in other categories, specifically Mountain sports, is a nice-to-have.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking to draw conclusions to translate them into actions, strategies, and decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for developing and maintaining lasting relationships with your business counterparts.
  • Employ creative thinking and maintain awareness of trends to remain ahead of market benchmarks and competition.
  • Strong sales orientation, easily connecting to customers as well as internal stakeholders
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Plan and prioritize daily work effectively with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
  • Ability to travel


Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, "Sports Management, Product Management, or a similar field of study
  • 4+ years of work experience in Product Management or Marketing, ideally
