About the role:

Take the opportunity to boost your career in Android development and work with Kotlin native features. We will offer a relaxed environment where you can experience a variety of new frameworks!

You will contribute to building company’s end user state of the art software and applications needed for a smooth and engaging experience with all our hardware equipment.

The main technologies we are using: Kotlin, Dagger, Hilt, GitLab, Jira.

Key responsibilities:

• Assess, design, develop, integrate, test, and document software features with a strong focus on Android platforms;
• Create and maintain packages/frameworks to integrate features in Guillemot applications
• Code developing in Kotlin;
• Troubleshoot software issues and fix bugs;
• Participate actively and proactively in all project overviews and Agile team meetings;
• Ownership of technical designs, code development and component test execution to demonstrate alignment to the functional specification;
• Performing code reviews and providing critical suggestions for fixes and improvements;
• Unit testing applications;
• Collaborating within a project team with diverse and complementary skills;
• Experience with publishing native applications in Google.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise::

• 1-3 years of experience as a software engineer building Android applications using Kotlin;
• Excellent understanding of object-oriented and MVVM design pattern;
• JSON and REST APIs knowledge;
• Experience with Unit and UI testing;
• Knowledge of continuous integration and code versioning;
• Able to create reusable code and write technical documentation;
• Focused on design details, knowledge to interact with design tools (Figma, Zeplin) ;
• Experience with publishing native applications;
• Excellent communication skills in English;
• Eagerness to learn innovative technologies;
