Role purpose:

As Product Owner, the successful candidate will be the main interface between the Product Manager and one or more Agile Scrum Teams, delivering clearly defined user stories to the team, in line with the overarching Product Vision and Roadmap.



With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

  • Runs impact analysis for Epics and User Stories.
  • Produces and maintains a user story backlog that is prioritised in line with the Product Manager’s expectations.
  • Defines/grooms user stories to the point of being Sprint Ready and hands over to the scrum teams and wider business areas to fulfil.
  • Contributes to overall product shaping, by liaising with various stakeholders in addition to the Product Manager and Scrum Teams.



With these skills you are a great candidate:

  • Minimum 3 years experience as an Agile Product Owner.
  • Can articulate the benefits and value added by each user story in a way that is clear to understand.
  • Proven record of building and maintaining stakeholder relationships up to senior manager level – examples required.
  • Experience of using Jira to manage requirements / user stories.
  • (Desirable) use of Kanban.
