Role Description:

We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead our Digital Markets Infrastructure (DMI) Operations team. DMI is an ambitious large-scale program using a range of blockchain architecture patterns, with numerous partners (internal and external) and use cases. The work is focused on the tokenisation of financial instruments, i.e. as digital assets. We seek candidates with an interest in the financial markets with experience of working on large projects. This is a chance to work on an innovative, intellectually exciting project backed by the influential reach of London Stock Exchange Group.

The role requires a dynamic and forward-thinking candidate to lead the operational setup and process optimization for our digital assets platform. This is an outstanding opportunity where you'll design, implement, and refine workflows that support our innovative digital products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial operations, combined with a passion for digital assets and emerging technologies.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in analysing, designing, and optimizing operational processes and workflows for the DMI program. A deep understanding of financial markets, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving is needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing Market Operations team
  • Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration
  • Design operations workflows to support both the short term tactical solutions and the long-term DMI vision.
  • Operational Strategy
  • Define and implement scalable processes that support market execution across the DMI organization
  • Identify bottlenecks and solutions to optimize delivery timelines and resource utilization
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Act as a strategic liaison between DMI teams, regional partners, and other business units
  • Translate business priorities into actionable operational plans
  • Campaign Execution & Governance
  • Be responsible for operational readiness
  • Ensure compliance with global standards & data quality
  • Performance Management
  • Track, report, and optimize key performance indicators to measure impact and effectiveness of operations
  • Leverage insights to drive decision-making and refine processes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Experience in operational or program management roles within a Digital Markets
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mobilize cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills
