The Green Recruitment Company has been partnered with a leading IPP with around 2 GW of projects in the pipeline in the Search of a Project Manager to manage the advanced permitting and EPC projects in Italy.
The Project Manager will be in charge of the technical business development and projects under construction of the solar PV and BESS projects in Italy.
The position will be reporting to the Corporate Construction and Engineering Head.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Construction phase of around 500MW of Solar PV projects in Italy.
- Lead end-to-end project development activities for Solar PV and BESS projects, ensuring projects are delivered within scope, timeline, and budget.
- Supervise works of Engineering and Construction contractors and suppliers to reach targets and milestones agreed in the contact.
- Coordination and liaison with stakeholders.
- Budget compliance and deviation control.
- Supervising contracts along with risk management, quality assurance and document and cost control.
- Arrange site visits and meetings whilst delivering excellent community engagement at each stage of a project.
Qualifications
- Plus 5 years of experience as Project Manager working in the business development and EPC of onshore projects in Italy and/or Spain.
- Experience in environmental and planning aspects of project development.
- A willingness and enthusiasm to work as part of a dynamic team, whilst fostering a positive working environment for all members.
- Fluency in English and Italian is compulsory and Spanish very valuable.
- Availability to travel to the projects in Italy is a requirement.
