Job Title: CTO

Location: Stockholm, Sweden (2-3 days per week hybrid)

Job Overview

We are supporting a fast-growing SaaS company in the travel space, building scalable, user-centric solutions that simplify bookings and automate operations. They're looking for a hands-on CTO to lead the technology vision and execution. You’ll own the tech strategy and roadmap, lead the engineering team, and ensure the scalability and reliability of our platform (web & mobile). This is both a strategic and roll-up-your-sleeves role, ideal for someone excited to build and scale a product that matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set and execute the technical vision, aligning with business goals.
• Lead platform development, architecture, and integrations.
• Build and mentor a high-performing engineering team.
• Drive innovation in automation, scalability, and user experience.
• Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Operations on feature priorities.
• Ensure compliance, security, and performance best practices.
• Stay current on travel tech trends, APIs, and standards (e.g., NDC).

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a CTO or senior engineering leader in SaaS.
• Strong technical background in modern web stacks ideally Java/Kotlin
• Experience with AWS and Architecture
• Experience with SaaS platforms, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD.
• Bonus: familiarity with travel industry standards and systems.
• Fluent in English; Swedish is a plus.
