Overview
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a technology-focused team supporting enterprise-grade development operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing GitLab instances, enabling seamless CI/CD processes, and supporting infrastructure integrations to enhance development efficiency across multiple teams.
What You’ll Do
- Administer and maintain GitLab environments, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and ongoing performance monitoring
- Lead the planning and execution of repository and pipeline migrations across GitLab instances
- Design, build, and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines to support secure and efficient software delivery
- Manage users, access rights, and permissions to ensure appropriate security and compliance across development environments
- Oversee source code repository organization, including branching models and merge processes
- Monitor system performance, resolve bottlenecks, and implement best practices to ensure platform reliability
- Integrate GitLab with key DevOps tools and platforms such as Jira, Jenkins, Docker, and Azure
- Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, migration strategies, and operational procedures
- Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to developers on GitLab best practices and usage
What We’re Looking For
- substantial experience in GitLab administration, including installation, upgrades, and configuration
- experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- experience in programming or application development
- experience in help desk or technical support roles
- Proficiency with scripting languages for automation and troubleshooting
- Strong hands-on experience working with Unix/Linux environments and Azure
- Demonstrated ability to integrate GitLab with various tools and platforms
- GitLab certification is highly desired
