The ideal candidate has experience designing complex workflows for enterprise-level applications such as CRMs or ERPs, a strong portfolio showcasing strategic and visual design skills, and a passion for delivering impactful user experiences. This position offers the opportunity to influence product strategy while collaborating in a fully remote, high-performing team environment.
Accountabilities
- Conduct user research, including interviews, usability testing, and data analysis, to understand user needs and pain points and translate insights into actionable design solutions
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to define new features, contribute to the product roadmap, and ensure design is integrated from concept to launch
- Own the full design lifecycle, including user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs validated with real users
- Contribute to and maintain a consistent design system across product touchpoints
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, iterate on designs, and ensure seamless implementation of product features
- Monitor product performance, gather feedback, and use data-driven insights to iterate on existing designs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Prioritize the Product Backlog and guide development teams to deliver value for both customers and business objectives while ensuring a delightful user experience
- 5+ years of experience in Product Design or a similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, visual design proficiency, and end-to-end design process
- Proven experience designing features and workflows for enterprise-level B2B applications, such as CRMs, ERPs, or similar platforms
- Expert-level proficiency with industry-standard design and prototyping tools like Figma
- Strong ability to leverage product analytics (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics) for data-driven design decisions
- Experience planning, conducting, and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative user research
- Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating design rationale and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strategic and analytical thinking, connecting user needs with business objectives to deliver high-quality solutions
- Proactive problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to user experience excellence
- Bonus: familiarity with the nonprofit space, startup/high-growth environments, or agile methodologies
- Fully remote work with flexibility to operate from home in Canada or the United States
- Competitive salary: Canada: $80,000-$95,000 USD; US: $90,000-$110,000 USD, depending on experience and location
- Generous time off policy: 21 days (including birthday), 2 paid volunteer days, 8+ designated/floating holidays, plus additional sick days
- Employer-sponsored health insurance covering medical, dental, vision, and life
- Retirement plans with employer contribution: 401(k) for US employees, RRSP for Canadian employees
- Home office and professional development reimbursement up to $1,500
- Eligibility for employee equity plan (stock options)
