We are seeking a Business Development Executive (BDE) to spearhead client engagement, sales and partnership growth across Asia. This is a pivotal role that not only drives lead generation and closes deals but also contributes to building out Quantum Chain’s BD/Sales function from the ground up — creating processes, playbooks and pipelines for long-term scalability.
Role Overview
The Business Development Executive will operate as a front-line growth driver for Quantum Chain in Asia, converting prospects into clients and partners while establishing the foundations of our BD/Sales operations. This includes sourcing opportunities, managing outreach, negotiating terms, and closing deals before handing off to integration and delivery teams. The role combines execution with strategy, ensuring both immediate results and the setup of a repeatable growth engine.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Function Buildout
- Work with senior leadership to finalise the design and rollout of Quantum Chain’s BD/Sales function.
- Contribute to playbooks, CRM/reporting processes, outreach sequences, and KPI frameworks.
- Help establish scalable workflows for lead qualification, pipeline management, and deal closure.
Lead Generation & Sales Execution
- Identify and target prospective clients across banks, fintechs, asset managers, brokers, and Web3 institutions in Asia.
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified leads using outreach campaigns, referrals, and industry events.
- Deliver presentations and product demos tailored to financial institutions and Web3 prospects.
- Drive the full sales cycle independently — from initial contact to negotiation and deal closure.
- Handover successfully closed clients to integration/delivery teams for onboarding.
Partnerships & Ecosystem Growth
- Develop partnerships with traditional and web3 financial institutions, wallets, infra providers, fintechs, exchanges, DAOs and blockchain projects.
- Explore strategic collaborations (integrations, co-marketing, joint ventures, investors/funds/VCs).
- Build long-term relationships that evolve into repeat business and enterprise pipelines.
Market Engagement & Reporting
- Represent Quantum Chain at industry events, panels and client meetings across Asia.
- Provide structured reporting on pipeline value, conversion rates and sales KPIs.
- Share insights on market trends, competitor positioning, and client needs to inform strategy.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales (Web3/crypto/fintech/financial services background strongly preferred).
- Proven track record in lead generation, negotiations and closing deals.
- Strong commercial instincts and the ability to translate relationships into revenue.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities (English required; Asian languages a plus).
- Proactive, entrepreneurial, and comfortable operating with autonomy in a high-growth startup.
- Based in Singapore, with ability to travel regionally across Asia when required.
