Job Description:
- Demonstrate the understanding of microbiology and/or chemical laboratory requirements
- Conduct inspection from raw materials to finished product
- Manage team of QC assistants to ensure inspection done in an objective and constructive method
- Compile and analyse data from inspection for continuous improvement
- Laison with different stakeholder to ensure objectives of food safety and quality are achieved
- Establish Procedures related to QC and Laboratory whenever required to support the objectives
- Provide training to crew members and visitors related to Food Safety and Hygiene
- Maintain all the QC reports and ensure its accuracy of reporting
- Any adhoc duties as assigned by the manager
Requirements:
- At least Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Chemical, Biotechnology, Microbiology or related field
- Experience in Catering industry is preferred
- Knowledge in HACCP, ISO 22000, AIB is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and detail-oriented person
- Willing to work on shift
