Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join as Manager, Research on a contract basis for 1-year. Working with relevant members of TF’s leadership team, the individual will conduct research on the corporate philanthropic landscape in Singapore and Southeast Asia.


He/She will conduct research through a strong focus on literature reviews, data analysis, and research write-ups for publication and internal reporting. Reporting to Chief People Officer (CPO), the Manager, Research is responsible for the following

  • Research on Singapore’s corporate and private philanthropic sector and it’s trends.
  • Collate and interpret data to provide overview of the evolving trends of corporate philanthropic space in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
  • Identify emerging areas of focus.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews and synthesize findings to support research goals.
  • Assist in drafting, editing, and formatting research documents.
  • Support data collection, analysis, and presentation of findings in collaboration with the research team.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate research findings to internal stakeholders
  • Ensure all written outputs are aligned with academic standards and style guides.
  • Coordinate with team members and contribute to project timelines and deliverables.
  • Maintain organized documentation and version control for all research materials.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Social Sciences, Data Science, Public Health, Education, Humanities or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in research management or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering impactful insights.
  • Strong academic writing skills with demonstrated experience in research documentation and manuscript preparation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Familiarity with qualitative and/or quantitative research methods.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the broader teams.
  • Previous experience supporting academic research projects or publications.
