Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior Web Developer to join our remote team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent computer science graduates or candidates with a relevant computer diploma (2+ years) who are eager to kickstart their career in web development. You will work closely with senior developers and designers to contribute to building and maintaining websites and web applications.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of web applications
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
  • Debug, test, and troubleshoot issues in existing applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies
Qualifications
  • 0–2 years of professional web development experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field), OR 2+ years diploma in computer/web-related program
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React, Vue, or Angular is a plus)
  • Familiarity with backend technologies (Node.js, PHP, or Python) is a bonus
  • Understanding of version control (Git/GitHub)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Salary & Benefits
  • Salary Range: $55,000 – $70,000 per year (depending on skills & experience)
