What You’ll Do
- Build fullstack features across frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend (Rails/Postgres/Redis/AWS).
- Design and implement APIs and embeddable components that power growth for SMBs.
- Partner with the founding team to take projects from 0→1, move fast, and ship to production.
- Split your time ~50% frontend / 50% backend.
What We’re Looking For
- CS degree from a top program or 5+ years as a software engineer at a high-growth startup or top tech company (e.g. Stripe, Plaid, Notion, Gusto, Brex, etc.).
- Proven track record of leading complex projects or fast career progression.
- Strong React skills plus backend experience (Rails preferred, open to other languages if flexible).
- Evidence of coding passion (very active GitHub, impactful side projects).
- A resourceful self-starter who thrives in early-stage environments.
Nice to Have: Ruby on Rails experience, early-stage startup background, fast growth company experience.

- Location: San Francisco (hybrid, 3–4 days in office near BART station)
- Salary: $150K–$250K + equity
- Hiring target: 2 engineers
