Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in the Java or Kotlin programming language.
• 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
• 2 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test new features for the Google Fi Wireless app, from concept to launch. Write high-quality, maintainable code, primarily in Kotlin.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and address technical debt, improve the app's performance, and ensure its stability and reliability.
• Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to translate product requirements and designs into a seamless user experience.
• Contribute to code reviews, author design docs, write unit and integration tests, and participate in interrupt rotations to support the app in production.
