The Project Manager at Astral Health & Beauty is a member of the NPD, Supply Chain + Operations teams and plays a pivotal role in the long-term success of the company. This role oversees the planning, execution, and completion of product development projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Manager must have exceptional project management skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The role reports to the VP of Operations.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Planning and Resource Management:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with product development objectives.
  • Coordinate and manage resources, both internal and external, for project execution.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitor project progress against timelines, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track for timely delivery.


Risk Management and Quality Control:

  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project completion.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout the product development process.


Documentation and Communication:

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and issue logs.
  • Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders, providing regular updates and status reports.


Continuous Improvement:

  • Address project issues, discrepancies, and conflicts, making decisions and taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, streamline workflows, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.


Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain and logistics analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in project management, preferably within product development or planning in the health and beauty industry or related fields.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion, meeting deadlines and budgets.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving collective success.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data to make informed decisions and drive project success.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey project updates and requirements to stakeholders.
  • Experience with Project Management software (ex: HIVE, ClickUp) or similar.
