Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly capable Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives within a newly formed business function in the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in project management, planning, and strategy, with proven experience in stakeholder engagement and navigating complex, fast-paced environments. This role is critical to driving operational excellence and delivering high-impact projects aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery across multiple strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, milestones, resource allocation, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, compliance, technology, and operations to ensure seamless execution and timely delivery.
  • Engage and manage stakeholders at all levels through clear communication, structured updates, and proactive issue resolution.
  • Monitor and report on project performance using appropriate tools and KPIs to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency, governance, and outcomes.
  • Support change management efforts, including training, communication, and adoption strategies for new systems or processes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably within financial services, fintech, or dynamic/startup-like environments.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning capabilities, with a track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive consensus.
  • Proven problem-solving ability and adaptability in high-pressure environments.
  • PMP, or Agile certification is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana, Trello).
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance frameworks is a plus.
