Alpha Efficiency is looking for a striving and dynamic UX/UI designer who will be responsible for the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design of our various digital assets. You will ensure that all elements of the online user experience are optimized for improved usability, usefulness, and exceptional visual design.

The successful candidate will provide evidence of a passion for delivering adaptive and creative solutions to UI/UX design problems by staying up to date with best practices and emerging trends in user experience design and user interface technology.

Responsibilities include:

• Gather and evaluate user requirements, in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets.
• Build page navigation buttons and search fields.
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like.
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness, pain points, etc.)
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images.

Requirements and skills

• Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.*
• Portfolio of design projects.**
• Knowledge of wireframe tools (Whimsical, Gliffy, Moqups, UXPin, Justinmind)
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Figma, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Good time-management skills.
• BSc in Design, Computer Science or relevant field.
• Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.
• You pay strong attention to detail and have a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Professional-level English language.
• Commitment to deadlines and proactive approach to work.
