Your Role
Are you a software developer with experience in PHP? Then you're a perfect fit for a PHP Developer position at Wieni.
For the past 16 years, we've been designing and developing web applications that excel in performance and user-friendliness for clients such as Play Media, DNS Belgium, UZ Leuven, BRUZZ, Studio 100, De Tijd, City of Leuven, and many others.
We need a strong team of backend developers to work on these web applications, which is why we are looking to expand our team.
- PHP has no secrets for you, and you closely follow updates to its standards.
- You are excited when arrow functions are accepted.
- Of course, you are proficient with Git and Composer 2.
- You're used to programming for performance and usability. Dealing with caching is a daily task.
- You don't understand why people still develop in PHP 7.2.
- Competencies in Symfony, Drupal or Laravel are optional but appreciated.
- You have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in this role.
A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Informatics (or similar experience).
- A spot on our team of sustainable digital talent.
- A full-time job at a 100% digital agency.
- A long-term engagement, not a short-term project.
- A 40-hour workweek.
- An efficient and effective communication culture.
- The possibility to determine when you work, with flexible working hours.
- A horizontal structure with maximum responsibility.
- An extensive Learning & Development program so you can continuously develop yourself and your skills.
- Customers and projects with impact, working for a better and more accessible internet.
- An employer with a top reputation.
We foster a culture built for and by our employees. This includes an emphasis on collaboration and teamwork, transparency, empathy, inspiration, and a no-nonsense, get-it-done attitude. We also value punctuality.
We believe work is an activity, not a place. We offer high flexibility in where and when you work, and we default to asynchronous communication.
However, we also recognize the limitations of asynchronous and remote communication. For certain high-interaction or social connection activities, we will encourage in-person interaction in our offices in Leuven or Antwerp.
- Send us your cover letter and CV.
- You'll be invited for a "culture check" interview.
- You'll speak with our CTO and a future colleague.
