Company Description

Gratheon is an opensource project and startup technology company based in Tallinn. We help beekeepers to organize and automate their apiaries and save bees 🐝.

We develop open-source web-app and integrate it with IoT devices to provide real-time metrics for beekeeping operations. The use of machine learning allows us to identify and alert beekeepers to potential dangers. As part of our long-term vision, we aim to automate this process with robots 🤖.

Role Description

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be free to develop web-app and hardware devices. We have wide variety of ideas and features that needs implementing so its a good playground to develop an interesting project.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in software development
• typescript, react, less on frontend
• nodejs, go, python, mysql, docker on backend
• graphql federation as API layer
• testing automation experience (jest/mocha, go test, pytest, different test types)

Optional, yet highly valued beneficial skills:

• video streaming/processing experience (ffmpeg, cv2)
• beekeeping experience as domain knowledge
• embedded software development for IoT devices (esp32)
• machine learning
• ecosystem sustainability and environmental restoration
