Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Accountant to join our team in Tartu. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is motivated, organized, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced, growth-oriented company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing daily accounting operations: purchase and sales invoices, wholesale and inventory processes, store-level accounting operations, payroll and bank transactions
- Performing tax accounting and reporting
- Handling period-end closing procedures, preparing monthly and annual reports
- Supporting subsidiary and group accounting procedures
- Supervising junior team members, providing guidance and training
- Acting as a finance business partner for sales, purchase and warehouse teams
- Participating in process changes and automation projects
Requirements:
- Ability to set priorities and work independently
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proactive and adaptable – comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Solid knowledge of EU VAT accounting and understanding the impact of Incoterms on accounting
- Previous experience with ERP system Directo in managing multi-entity and multi-currency reporting is an advantage
- Previous work experience in wholesale and inventory accounting is a plus
- Good understanding of accounting processes in a distribution business
- Fluency in Estonian and English
- Ability to work from our office in Tartu, Estonia
