Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Network Engineer to join the on-site team. The role involves managing network devices, VLAN configurations, VoIP troubleshooting, data center operations, and resolving fiber and copper connectivity issues. The engineer will ensure smooth operations, manage incidents within SLA, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT infrastructure and network stability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Manage VLAN configuration, routing, and secure segmentation.
• Troubleshoot VoIP, fiber, and copper connectivity issues.
• Perform firmware upgrades, rack-and-stack, and structured cabling tasks.
• Monitor environmental and power metrics within the data center.
• Execute disaster recovery, backup, and preventive maintenance.
• Configure and troubleshoot core protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP, STP, QoS).
• Manage ACLs, IPSec VPNs, and authentication protocols.
• Use monitoring (SolarWinds, PRTG) and ITSM tools (ServiceNow) for incident management.
• Provide support for servers (Windows/Linux/Unix) and storage (SAN/NAS).
• Document changes, troubleshooting steps, and provide stakeholder updates.
Required Skills:
• Cisco certification (CCNA/CCNP) preferred.
• Strong experience in data center operations (rack-and-stack, cabling, device configuration).
• Hands-on expertise with VLANs, routing/switching protocols, and network security.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, SolarWinds, and PRTG.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under SLA-driven environments.
• Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
