Position Title: Digital Support Specialist

Job Purpose/Description
The Digital Support Specialist for IOBs online learning ecosystem will play a key role in managing and supporting the organisations suite of digital platforms, integrations and online content including the IOB Learn Learning Experience Platform, Website, CPD Portal, Marketing Cloud, and, most critically, the Moodle Learning Management System (LMS).
Responsibility Level
The role supports IOB students, members and staff, by designing accessible and appealing online content and supporting the delivery of materials for an exceptional digital learning experience. The role involves troubleshooting, platform administration, user support and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance and evolve the organisation's online learning ecosystem, in alignment with the Digital Learning Strategy and organisational strategic objectives. The role holder will work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless delivery and support of best-in-class output.
Key Responsibilities
- Moodle LMS (Learning Management System)administration
- Provide responsive, efficient support to staff and IOB members across online platforms, particularly MoodleLMS
- Document solutions to recurring problems and create resources forusers
- Assist staff in optimising platform usage for educational and professional development contentdelivery.
- Gather feedback from users and colleagues to inform platform improvements and ensure accessibility andinclusivity.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and other teams to ensure smooth content deployment.
- Support the integration of digital tools and systems to create a cohesive and scalableecosystem.
- Monitor and report on platform usage, performance metrics, and userengagement
- Ensure compliance with data protection and accessibilitystandards.
- Create and manage multimedia content for online platforms, including videos, images, and writtencontent.
- Optimise content for different platforms and formats and best possible user experience.
- Assist with data management and fileorganisation.
- Coordinate staff training, host workshops and deliverpresentations.
- Plan and conduct user research, and competitor and data analysis to develop action plans and guide initiatives toconclusion.
- Identify and implement process improvements andefficiencies.
- Work with 3rd party vendors to deliver goals & completeprojects.
- Use a ticketing system (ServiceNow) to open and managetickets.
- Perform other duties, initiatives and projects asassigned.
- Highly proficient IT skills (cloud computing, scripting and programming, web development, application support, system admin, platform integration, troubleshooting, data analysis) to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook and SharePoint andPowerBI.
- Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator,Animate).
- Administrative experience in the operation of a large Learning ManagementSystem (e.g.)Moodle.
- Knowledge of HTML, PHP, JavaScript, My SQL, Bootstrap ishelpful.
- Experience with online creative and project management tools (Canva, Kaltura, Monday).
- Knowledge of Project Management frameworks and bestpractice.

- Third level qualification in a relevantdiscipline.
- Ideally two years experience in a similarenvironment.
- Strong technical experience with Moodle LMS (administration, configuration, and support).
- Experience with digital products and system ownership andadministration.
- Understanding of integrations using APIs, SSO, and relatedtechnologies.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technicalissues.
- Experience in an eLearning, content production, design anddevelopment.
- This is a hybrid role, typically working 23 days per week in IOBs Dublin office with flexibility to attend the office on other days as required e.g. for training, workshops etc.
- Flexibility with regards to working additional hours during busy periods isrequired.
- The role may involve tight deadlines and periods of high activity, requiring flexibility and strong timemanagement.
- The role involves coordination across departments and external stakeholders/suppliers, with occasional need to lead workshops or trainingsessions.
- The role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously. The role holder must be able to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions to ensure projectsuccess.
- The position demands high levels of concentration and attention to detail. The role holder is required to analyse data, develop plans, and solve problemsregularly.
- The job entails managing high volumes of customer inquiries, requiring the ability to remain calm and professional underpressure.
