Barden are delighted to have been engaged by the Director of an innovative events management company based in Dublin, to identify a passionate and driven HR manager to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
Our client is a well-established, fast-growing business in the events space, with a dynamic and agile team culture. This is a standalone role, and our client is looking for someone who’s comfortable working across multiple HR pillars and thrives in an environment where people and relationships come first.
If you’re proactive, people-focused, and love having real impact, this role could be a great fit.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Lead end-to-end hiring and onboarding, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for new joiners while attracting top talent through creative sourcing strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, aligning people initiatives with business goals and supporting leadership development across the organisation.
- Drive engagement and culture-building, using feedback tools and employee insights to shape a positive, inclusive workplace environment.
- Support performance and growth, overseeing performance processes and coaching managers to get the best from their teams.
- Champion learning and development, identifying skills gaps and rolling out impactful training programs that support career progression.
- Oversee HR policy and compliance, promoting a respectful, legally compliant, and values-led workplace through clear frameworks and fair practices.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Solid background in HR, with 10+ years’ experience in a generalist or leadership role — ideally within events, hospitality, or similarly fast-paced sectors.
- Confident understanding of employment law, HR best practices, and employee relations, with sound judgement in complex situations.
- Strong communicator who can build trust and influence at all levels of the business.
- Demonstrated success in driving employee engagement and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Highly organised, solutions-focused, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
