Title: Product Manager- Lubricants
Location (Hybrid): Rotterdam, Netherlands (relocation housing offered).
Package: €90,000-€115,000 base salary + 20% bonus + 30 days vacation.
Company Overview
Irving Knight are partnered with a €70BN Global Chemical & Ingredient Manufacturing Leader. The role will focus on Lubricant speciality chemicals. We are seeking a Product Manager either based or able to relocate to the Rotterdam Netherlands area.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Continuously refine and update sales forecasts for lubricant speciality chemical products, focusing on volume, market penetration, and profitability.
- Develop and implement strategies to boost sales across products, regions, and channels.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including emerging markets, growth sectors, trends, customer segments, partnerships, and innovative approaches to existing markets.
- Assist business management in pinpointing opportunities for profitability and growth.
- Organise and manage exhibition events for the lubricant market.
- Provide R&D with precise data to align product portfolios with European benchmark quality standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
- Experience: 2–5 years of professional experience in the lubricant chemical industry.
- Additional Expertise: 1-2 years of experience in product management, sourcing, category management, or procurement roles.
