Job Description


What will you do as HR Generalist - Benelux?

  • Manage the entire employee lifecycle process (onboarding, internal mobility, and offboarding);
  • Act as the first point of contact for HR-related questions from employees and managers;
  • Represent the HR department in local and regional meetings, ensuring alignment between organizational goals and HR policies;
  • Advise the management team on HR policy, labor law, personnel issues, and compensation strategies;
  • Coordinate and execute payroll and salary administration processes with accuracy, compliance, and timely processing;
  • Manage the local talent management process, including annual performance reviews, succession planning, and career development initiatives;
  • Conduct job evaluations and implement compensation and recognition measures in line with organizational policy and market standards;
  • Implement and adapt HR guidelines and processes as needed due to legal or organizational changes;
  • Manage sick leave cases in accordance with the Dutch "Wet verbetering poortwachter" (Gatekeeper Improvement Act), including coordination with occupational health services, progress reporting, and facilitating timely and appropriate reintegration;
  • Monitor and coordinate annual HR programs (e.g. employee satisfaction surveys, performance management cycles, and merit reviews), and follow up on improvement actions;
  • Advise and support managers during organizational changes;
  • Lead or support HR projects and policy implementations.


Qualifications


What we expect from you:

  • A completed higher education (HBO) degree in HRM, personnel administration, or similar;
  • Full-time availability (38 hours per week);
  • At least 2 years of experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in a multinational environment;
  • Strong knowledge of Dutch labor law and regulations;
  • Experience with managing sick leave in the Netherlands;
  • Fluent in both English and Dutch; knowledge of French or German is a plus;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (Dutch & English);
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
