We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, secure, and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructure across multiple environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on expertise with Cisco technologies, firewalls, routing, and switching, combined with a strong background in network security, high availability, and performance optimization. This role requires both technical leadership and operational excellence, ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of mission-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain complex LAN, WAN, and Data Center network infrastructures.
- Manage and optimize Cisco routers, switches, firewalls (Cisco ASA, Firepower, Palo Alto, or Fortinet), VPNs, and wireless solutions.
- Lead the implementation of network security policies, firewall rules, and intrusion prevention strategies.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve advanced networking issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high service availability.
- Collaborate with security, systems, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration between network and enterprise infrastructure.
- Evaluate and recommend new network technologies, tools, and best practices to improve performance and security.
- Maintain network documentation, including topology diagrams, configuration standards, and disaster recovery procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related area
- 4 - 6 years' of experience with network administration in a Linux or Windows environment
- Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals
