iOS Software Engineer, Group Digital

IKEA
Netherlands · Full-time · Not Applicable

We're the team behind the beloved IKEA shopping app used by millions of people around the world every week. We're constantly expanding into new markets and building new features to support customers both online and in-store. Guided by the latest technologies, customer feedback, and data insights, we aim to make the shopping experience better every day.

Our diverse app team is mainly based in the Netherlands and Sweden. We work in agile product teams working closely together with Product Owners, Designers, QA Engineers, and Developers.

We're looking for a passionate iOS Developer to join our friendly, driven team!

If you're early in your career, you'll have the chance to grow your skills in Swift and SwiftUI while building features that impact millions of users. If you’re more experienced, you'll take on more responsibility in shaping solutions, guiding best practices, and mentoring others.

No matter your level, you enjoy writing clean, maintainable code, staying current with mobile development trends, and working in an agile, collaborative environment. You care about performance, simplicity, and making continuous improvements—both in the product and in how we work.

A degree in Computer Science (or similar) and hands-on experience with agile software development will help you hit the ground running.

What you’ll be working on
- Develop and maintain high-quality, well-tested code for the IKEA iOS app (Swift, SwiftUI).
- Work closely together with engineers and cross-functional teams to define and implement digital solutions that meet business needs.
- Follow industry best practices like TDD, continuous integration, automated tests and maintain code quality.
- Share knowledge with teammates and support the adoption of good engineering practices.
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.
