C++ Developer

A proprietary trading firm are looking to hire strong C++ Software Engineers to join their market data team. The market data team designs, builds and maintains in house infrastructure which connects the firm to global markets at a high speed. In the team you will write and maintain exchange feeds used for generating trading signal for research, as well as the manage production infrastructure to access markets during live trading.

You will:

• Work closely with stakeholders and team members to define requirements, iterate quickly, and deliver functionality with high quality.
• Design and build market data software for new venues, implement new features and improvements to the overall Market Data platform.
• Demonstrate strong ownership of projects throughout the full engineering lifecycle.
• Ensure quality of deliverables are maintained high standards with robust testing procedures which is critical to project development
• Provide high level support for supported products to be highly available for the firm

Must have qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related subject.
• 1+ years’ C/C++ Linux based development experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
