Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior System Engineer to join our Abu Dhabi office, leading the design, configuration, and management of Telecom and/or Security systems across onshore and offshore Oil & Gas projects. The candidate will play a key role in coordinating with clients, EPC contractors, and vendors to ensure the successful execution of project requirements from design to commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Technical Requirements: Review contractual documentation to fully understand project needs.
• Ensure Contractual Alignment: Verify alignment between contract requirements and Eurocontrolli’s bid offer.
• Define System Architecture: Develop system architecture and prepare high-level technical documents (FDS, Block Diagrams, Data Sheets).
• Prepare Preliminary BoM: Draft initial Bills of Materials for procurement, aligned with project budgets.
• Generate Detailed Design Documentation: Deliver GA drawings, cabinet/panel layouts, interconnection and termination drawings, cable lists.
• Compile Final Documentation: Assemble FAT/SAT procedures, IOM manuals, and project close-out documentation.
• Supervise Assembly and Integration: Oversee cabinet assembly and system integration during manufacturing.
• System Configuration & Testing: Configure systems for FAT/IFAT, commissioning, and client testing.
• Attend FAT: Participate in FAT at manufacturer premises when required.
• Ensure Completion of Integrated FAT: Finalize with zero outstanding punch-list items.
• Perform Site Activities: Conduct commissioning, SAT, and training at client sites.

Requirements

• Degree in Telecommunication or Electronic Engineering (or related field).
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a System Engineer.
• At least 3 years in System Integration projects within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Proven experience working with ADNOC, Saudi Aramco, or QatarEnergy projects (onshore and offshore).
• Demonstrated ability to manage medium-to-large scale projects in the Middle East.
• Profound knowledge in at least one subsystem area:
• Security Systems: ACS, PA/GA, IDS, CCTV, personnel tracking, man overboard, etc.
• Telecom Systems: LAN/WLAN, SDH/PDH, OTN, IP telephony, TETRA/UHF/VHF radio, intercom, video conference, entertainment, meteorological systems, etc.
• Experience in liaising with and managing manufacturers/vendors.
• Skilled in leading technical meetings with clients.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle multiple projects under pressure.
• Team-oriented with effective problem-solving capabilities.
• Willingness to travel internationally on short notice.
• Availability to work on-site for commissioning, SAT, and training.
• Competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
