Job Title: Chief AI Officer (AI)

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Salary: upto 120,000AED/month + generous bonus

Role Overview

We are seeking a commercially minded, execution-focused Chief AI Officer to lead enterprise-wide AI strategy and implementation. This senior leader will design and deploy AI solutions that deliver measurable commercial impact, drive innovation, and support strategic decision-making across all business units.

This role requires deep technical expertise, sharp business acumen, and the ability to influence and align multiple senior stakeholders across a complex organization.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Strategy & Vision
• Define and execute the company’s AI roadmap, aligned with commercial priorities and long-term business objectives.
• Value-Driven AI Deployment
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable AI/ML solutions including predictive models, process automation, generative AI, and advanced analytics, with a clear focus on delivering tangible business outcomes.
• Stakeholder Engagement
• Collaborate closely with C-suite leaders, department heads, and external partners to identify high-impact AI opportunities, secure buy-in, and drive adoption across business units.
• AI Governance & Risk
• Develop and oversee AI governance frameworks to ensure ethical, transparent, and compliant use of AI technologies.
• Innovation & Emerging Tech
• Explore and pilot cutting-edge technologies including LLMs, autonomous agents, and intelligent decision systems. Create a rapid experimentation environment for AI prototypes.
• Team & Capability Building
• Build and lead a high-performing AI team comprising data scientists, engineers, and analysts. Mentor talent, establish best practices, and foster a culture of innovation.
• Commercial Alignment
• Work with finance, operations, and strategy teams to quantify the ROI of AI initiatives and ensure alignment with commercial KPIs and investment priorities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in AI, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field; PhD is a plus
• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML with 5+ years in a senior leadership role
• Demonstrated success deploying AI at scale in fast-paced, commercially focused environments
• Expertise in LLMs, MLOps, GenAI, cloud architecture, and data infrastructure
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with a strong ability to influence, communicate, and align diverse senior stakeholders
• Commercially savvy with the ability to link AI solutions to revenue growth, cost optimization, and strategic differentiation
• Prior experience working across multiple industries or in a diversified business group is preferred
• Entrepreneurial mindset and a bias for execution
• Strategic thinker with a strong grasp of market dynamics and competitive positioning
• Confident communicator, able to translate complex technical concepts into business value
• Agile and adaptable with experience navigating transformation and change
