About The Role
We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join our expanding technical team at Searchability (UK) Ltd. This is a full-time position based onsite in Bradford, with the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements to promote work-life balance. As a PHP Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining a variety of digital products and web applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client specifications and business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in PHP development, particularly with Laravel, and possess experience working on complex projects in fast-paced environments. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications and digital products using PHP and Laravel frameworks.
- Collaborate with the Technical Product Manager, designers, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the functionality, performance, and security of applications.
- Implement and advocate for best practices in coding, testing, and deployment processes, including TDD and automation techniques.
- Support and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical insights.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in web development to continuously improve skills and project outcomes.
