Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Student Web Developer to assist in the design, development, and maintenance of web applications and websites. This role is ideal for students currently pursuing studies in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field who want to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing, coding, and testing web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks. Knowledge of WordPress CMS.
  • Support in maintaining and updating existing websites to ensure functionality, performance, and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with senior developers and designers to implement user-friendly features.
  • Conduct website debugging, troubleshooting, and bug fixes.
  • Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and project planning sessions.
  • Document development processes, code changes, and technical specifications.
  • Research and suggest new technologies, tools, and best practices for web development.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor degree/diploma or degree program in Web Development ,Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue (an asset but not required).
  • Understanding of back-end technologies such as PHP, Node.js, or Python (preferred but optional).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
