Role Summary

Vouch is seeking an Cybersecurity Engineer / Deputy Manager (Endpoint Security) on behalf of our client to lead endpoint security program and strengthen organizational cyber defense. The role involves safeguarding endpoints across devices and cloud environments, driving policy enforcement, leading incident response, overseeing vulnerability management, and mentoring a technical team. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in endpoint security technologies with proven leadership skills, analytical problem-solving, and familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design & Implementation: Develop, implement, and maintain a robust endpoint security program aligned with organizational goals.
  • Policy Management: Create, enforce, and audit endpoint security policies, covering areas such as BYOD, encryption, and access control.
  • Incident Response: Lead endpoint-related incident handling, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.
  • Vulnerability & Patch Management: Oversee processes to minimize the organization’s attack surface through timely vulnerability remediation and patching.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and guide a team of security analysts and engineers to achieve security objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across departments to integrate endpoint security practices into daily business operations.


What I Am Looking For:

  • Education & Expertise: Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related discipline.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of endpoint security technologies (EPP, EDR, MDM) across Windows, macOS, Linux, and cloud platforms.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading technical teams, managing security projects, and engaging effectively with both technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Analytical Capability: Ability to diagnose complex incidents, identify root causes quickly, and make data-driven decisions under pressure.
  • Framework Familiarity: Knowledge of NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
  • Certifications (Preferred): CISSP, GCIH, or relevant vendor certifications (e.g., TrendMicro, Microsoft MS-500).
