Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and application expertise for System 3R tooling and automation systems, including setup, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their machining requirements and recommend appropriate System 3R tooling solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations, training, and workshops for clients and internal teams on the use of System 3R products.
- Assist in the design and development of custom tooling solutions to meet specific customer needs.
- Work closely with sales and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of System 3R products into customer workflows.
- Perform on-site installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of System 3R systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in tooling technology, and System 3R product developments.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance tooling performance and efficiency.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in precision machining, tooling systems, or a related engineering role.
- Knowledge of System 3R tooling systems or similar automation/tooling technologies is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, CNC machining, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, CAD models, and machining specifications.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for installations, training, or support as needed.
- Proficiency in CAD software, CAM systems, or other relevant tools.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining), milling, or other precision manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with automation systems and Industry 4.0 concepts.
- Prior experience in customer-facing technical roles or field service engineering.
