We are looking to build our team with a Data Analyst, reporting into our Head of Analytics. You will be responsible for supporting our team’s efforts in data management, analysis, and visualization, helping to drive decision making for our growing team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with SQL and Python, and have experience working with BI platforms to visualize data.
Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: Remote
Responsibilities:
- Query, organize and maintain data from various sources using SQL.
- Perform data analysis using Python to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations utilizing BI tools.
- Assist team members in preparing reports and presentations to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and support data-driven decision-making.
- Independently take business questions and perform necessary analytics to deliver actionable solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and completeness through validation and quality checks.
- Continuously enhance technical skills through training and self-directed learning.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python; familiarity with Snowflake is a plus.
- Familiarity with Hex or other BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker); experience with Hex specifically is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently manage tasks.
- A growth mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
