Addison Group is working with a global Law firm in search for a Network Administrator to join their team. We’re seeking a proactive and technically confident Network Support Engineer with a strong background in Cisco routing protocols and hands-on data center experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys troubleshooting, and is passionate about network reliability and performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as front-line support for network-related user issues, providing timely communication and updates.
  • Troubleshoot routing issues with a focus on Cisco technologies, particularly BGP and EIGRP.
  • Perform diagnostics using ping and traceroute tools—this is your bread and butter.
  • Conduct regular onsite visits (twice per week) to data centers for:
  • Circuit troubleshooting
  • Rack & stack of network equipment
  • Sanity and health checks
  • Cable replacements and connection verifications
  • Support upcoming network refresh projects
  • Maintain clear and thorough documentation of network issues and resolutions.


Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with Cisco troubleshooting, especially BGP and EIGRP.
  • Strong command of ping and traceroute diagnostics.
  • Ability to rack and stack equipment in data centers.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Physically able to lift 50–70 pounds.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 20–30%.
  • Availability to respond to critical after-hours issues when needed.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
