Description

• 10–15 years of proven experience as an Oracle EBS Apps DBA or Technical Lead, specializing in installation, upgrade, patching, cloning, and support of EBS Release 12.1.x and 12.2.x.

• Successful completion of at least one full lifecycle Oracle EBS R12.1.x to R12.2.x upgrade project, including database upgrades (11g, 12c, 19c).

• Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle EBS on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including provisioning, migration (lift & shift), and lifecycle management via Oracle EBS Cloud Manager.

• Proficiency in Oracle Database administration (RAC, ASM, patching, cloning, performance tuning).

• Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware components, including WebLogic Server administration for EBS applications.

• Expertise in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, BI Publisher, Oracle Workflow, and OAF (preferred).

• Lead and manage Oracle EBS R12.1.x and R12.2.x environments across single-node and multi-node architectures.

• Drive upgrades from R12.1.x to R12.2.x, including related database upgrades.

• Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support to ensure high availability and performance of EBS environments.

• Manage the full application lifecycle: patching, release management, performance tuning, and administration.

• Design and implement integrations between Oracle EBS and other applications (on-premises and cloud/SaaS).

• Analyze legacy environments, define migration strategies, and execute data migration activities (e.g., FBDI, ADFDI, Oracle Data Integrator).

• Collaborate with functional teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Conduct performance, functional, and UAT testing to ensure system quality.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including upgrade guides, configurations, and troubleshooting references.

• Mentor and train team members on Oracle EBS and cloud best practices.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight delivery timelines.

Desired Qualifications

• Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certifications).

• Experience with additional cloud platforms (e.g., Azure).

• Familiarity with Shell or Python scripting for automation.

• Knowledge of IAM, IDM, and SSO integration with Oracle EBS.

• Awareness of latest Oracle EBS updates, releases, and industry best practices.
