We are looking for a Junior Data Engineer to join our team.
Job Description
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines (Python/SQL)
- Ingest, clean, and transform data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, files)
- Work with AWS cloud services at a basic level
- Support and optimize the existing data infrastructure
- Perform data quality monitoring and validation
- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and engineers
- Proficiency in Python for data processing (pandas, pyarrow, json, requests)
- Solid understanding of databases (SQL, PostgreSQL/MySQL)
- Basic experience with ETL tools (e.g., Airflow)
- Knowledge of common data formats (JSON, CSV, Parquet)
- Understanding of relational vs. non-relational data models
- Experience with Apache Airflow, dbt, or Spark
- Familiarity with Docker / Git / CI/CD
- Hands-on skills with cloud platforms (AWS S3, Lambda, BigQuery)
- English Pre-Intermediate+ (comfortable reading documentation)
