Job Overview
As a Solutions Architect at 3thix, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions to integrate our Payments and Wallets API (available at https://sandbox-docs.3thix.com/) into games, either directly or through our Unity and Unreal SDKs. You will collaborate with game developers, publishers, and internal teams to ensure seamless integration, scalability, and compliance with industry standards. Your expertise will help studios monetize their games effectively while enhancing player experiences through secure and efficient payment systems.
Responsibilities
API Integration: Design and implement solutions to integrate 3thix’s Payments and Wallets API into games, ensuring compatibility with various platforms and game engines.
SDK Utilization: Leverage 3thix’s Unity and Unreal SDKs to streamline integration for game developers, providing technical guidance and best practices.
Collaboration: Work closely with game developers, publishers, and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, identify integration challenges, and propose solutions.
Technical Guidance: Provide mentorship and support to development teams, ensuring successful implementation of payment and wallet systems.
Security and Compliance: Ensure all integrations adhere to security protocols (e.g., PCI DSS) and regulatory requirements for payment processing.
Optimization: Optimize payment processing workflows, including fiat-to-crypto transactions, in-game marketplaces, and real-time payouts.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration processes, troubleshooting guides, and best practices.
Testing and Validation: Oversee testing of integrated systems to ensure reliability, performance, and compatibility across different game environments.
Industry Awareness: Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in Web3, payment systems, and game development to recommend innovative solutions.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
- 2+ years of experience in software architecture or solutions design.
- Hands-on experience with Unity and/or Unreal Engine SDKs, ideally in a gaming context.
- Proven experience with API integration, particularly in payment gateways or financial systems.
- Hands-on knowledge of database design and system architecture principles.
-Strong understanding of Web3 technologies, blockchain-based wallets, and cryptocurrency transactions.
-Familiarity with security and compliance standards in payment processing (e.g., PCI DSS, KYC).
- Upper-Intermediate to Fluent proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Experience with additional programming languages or frameworks.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies and experience working in an agile environment.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
-Understanding of cross-border payment rails and fiat-to-crypto swaps.
