Working primarily across the EdTech and Media industries, the successful candidate will contribute to a variety of web and mobile projects. You will be exposed to a wide range of technologies and enjoy strong opportunities for professional growth.

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant coding experience
- Proficiency in an object-oriented C-style language (e.g. C# or PHP)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to find and fix errors in software
- Ability to leverage HTML, CSS, and related web technologies
- Solid understanding of relational databases
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Effective communication skills, both in person and online
- Understanding of key software development, multimedia, and internet technologies
- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies
Highly Regarded Experience
- PHP and/or C#
- Drupal or Moodle
- .NET Core, Blazor, or MAUI
- Vue.js or other modern JavaScript frameworks
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and designers to deliver software to specification
- Translate designs and specifications into functioning software
- Develop prototypes, templates, and plugins for platforms such as Drupal and Moodle
- Test and debug code to ensure reliability and performance
- Contribute to multimedia product development
- Prepare and maintain project documentation
- Assist with ongoing maintenance, updates, and support of products
- Support the upskilling of colleagues and knowledge sharing across the team
- Assist in the design and development of new products and services
- Research emerging technologies relevant to software and multimedia
- Author at least one annual blog post (~500 words) on a topic relevant to your work
- Contribute to general business operations as required in a small/medium enterprise environment
